UNDERSTANDING THE ECODESIGN CRITERIA
In 2022, a new European-wide Programme to lower emissions and improve air quality comes into force, known as EcoDesign. Manufacturers within the Stove Industry Alliance (SIA) have opted to design models which already comply with EcoDesign criteria. This is a clear demonstration of their commitment to lowering emissions and improving efficiencies for homes and workplaces.
These stoves carry the SIA EcoDesign-Ready label and have been independently tested and verified by HETAS. SIA EcoDesign-Ready stoves are the most environmentally friendly stoves, offering lower particle emissions up to 90% better than those found in open fires, low CO2 emissions and higher efficiencies. The latest models are also up to 84% cleaner burning than a 10-year-old stove.

You can find examples of these within our showroom. They are simply perfect for creating that individual look for your new wood burner or gas appliance. Many of our clients also consider fitting solid oak beams and shelves to add the perfect finishing touch to a wood burning stove installation. We can supply and fit these made to measure in a range of textures and colours.
Stove top fans can be a real talking point when friends and family pop round. Utilising the heat from the stove to power itself, these fans can help move the air from within the fireplace recess or move hot air further into a long room. We offer a choice of stove top fan options based on the size of your installation.

Don’t forget – you will need fireplace tools to help you operate and clean your new wood burner. The easiest way is to buy a companion set which usually includes a poker, brush, dustpan and tongs. We also have many styles of log basket to keep those logs neat and tidy, along with kindling and fire lighters.
